Package: base
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
*** Please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
I do not remember doing anything special since the last time the root terminal worked
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
	restart
	normal terminal works, so I tried "su -" "gksu /usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator" and "gnome-terminal -e "sudo -i" "
   * What was the outcome of this action?
	restart didnt had any effect
with "su -" I get "su: Error with authentication" (my system-language is german, so this might be translated wrong)
with "gksu /usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator" I come to the usual window where I have to enter my root passwort. After entering the pw, this window closes and nothing happens
with "gnome-terminal -e "sudo -i" " I come to a terminal that asks me for a password, and when I enter the superuser password it says "sorry, try again"
   * What outcome did you expect instead?
