Dear Maintainer,
I have an intel Thinkpad L440 laptop and installed Jessie RC2. After the latop goes through suspend/hibernate no sound comes from the headphone port. If I unplug anything from the port then the internal speakers work just fine. Both the internal speakers and headphone port use the same soundcard. A reboot lets the sound port work again.
I checked alsamixer and nothing is muted there. I checked the pulseaudio control panel and nothing is muted there either. The pulse audio control panel even shows the audio levels it is supposed to be directing to alsa. I tried restarting the pulse daemon and that didn't change anything. I tried unloading the sound modules using rmmod, but they failed to unload. I grabbed a copy of the old alsa script that used to come in alsa-base but it also failed to unload the sound modules.
