* What led up to the situation?
Just run debian installer package (netinst) of any 32-bit version under Hyper-V with 8 network interfaces attached (not legacy one)
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
You can see just few of maximum of 8 interfaces. This does not happen on 64-bit installation / kernel.
* What was the outcome of this action?
* What outcome did you expect instead?
You can see all network interfaces.
