Well, if you can't afford reinstalling linux-image-* and perform a
reboot because it's a super-important server (or you are just several
kilometers away from it), that's ok.

But please note that the debsums test is harmless and you can do it
without risk.

More to the point, if you are not applying security updates to your
running system, maybe you should!
