called Sefirot HaOmer. During this time, we count the days from
PeSach till Shavuot. It is a period of seven weeks. "You shall
then count seven "<B>perfect</B>" weeks after the day following the
(Passover) Holiday when you brought the Omer as an offering, until the day
after the seventh week, when there will be a total of fifty days."
(Vayikra / Leviticus 23:15) And the Midrash comments, "Seven perfect
weeks" When will they be <B>perfect? </B> When the Jews do the
will of G-d (Medrash Rabbah 28:3) </SPAN></P>
<P><FONT face=Verdana>Shavuot is when we remember the giving of the Torah
to the Jewish People. It was the climax of our preparation for the
giving of the Torah. Every day leading up to Shavuot, we are to work
on ourselves: To be better Jews, more worthy and more committed.
This is what G-d demands from his chosen people. As we count the
Omer, we should look forward to improving ourselves.</FONT><SPAN

Palestine, we’ve been watching an uprising in Iraq, and the question is

country?</SPAN></I></STRONG><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">
Because it seem[s] to me, that we are comfortable in where we are,
watching CNN, ABC, NBC, Fox, and all these mainstream... giving us a
window to the world while the world is being managed from Washington, from
New York, from every other place in here in San Francisco: Chevron,
Bechtel, [Carlyle?] Group, Halliburton; every one of those lying,
cheating, stealing, deceiving individuals are in our country and we’re
sitting here and watching the world pass by, people being bombed, and

Students Association has chapters throughout the USA and Canada.
This threat to the Jewish People is magnified when understood in the
context of the recent report published by the JTA, </FONT><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">Official
anti-Semitism is on the rise in Muslim countries of the Middle East,
fueling long-term hostility to Israel, a study
found.</SPAN></EM></SPAN><I><FONT face=Verdana><BR><BR></FONT><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">Israel's
Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center published a study this week
arguing that in Iran and Arab states -- even those that have recognized
the Jewish state -- officially sanctioned statements of anti-Semitism with
a Muslim slant are increasing, often as a means of diverting internal
dissent from the government.</SPAN></EM><FONT
face=Verdana><BR><BR></FONT><EM><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">One
salient example is Holocaust denial twinned with allegations that Israel
is practicing a "real" holocaust against the
Palestinians.</SPAN></EM><FONT face=Verdana><BR><BR></FONT><EM><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">Anti-Semitism tends to rise in parallel to
progress in diplomatic rapprochement between Arab regimes and Israel,
calling into question the long-term efficacy of such
accords.</SPAN></EM><FONT face=Verdana><BR><BR></FONT><EM><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">The study singled out Iran as a country whose
anti-Semitism poses a potential threat to Israel's existence, given
Tehran's supposed nuclear program.</SPAN></EM><FONT
face=Verdana><BR><BR></FONT><EM><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">"Anti-Semitism supported by a state which
publicly adheres to a policy of genocide and is making efforts to arm
itself with non-conventional weapons which will enable it to carry out
that policy is unprecedented since Nazi Germany," the study
said</SPAN></EM></SPAN></I><FONT face=Verdana>.<SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial"><BR> </SPAN></FONT></TD></TR>

that the Jewish Population in Diaspora is in sharp decline and the Muslim
Population is on the rise. When one considers the recent report from
Israel about the rise in anti-Semitism from Muslim countries and
respectable Muslim Student groups providing a platform for a man that
advocates an INTIFADA in North America, this demands a response.</SPAN>
<P><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Verdana">The Torah demands that these are to
be 'seven perfect weeks'. These are days of reflection and
understanding. The goal is to be better and stronger Jews.
We cannot ignore the threats that surround our people. The
Jewish Defence League is now accepting donations. Give to our worthy
cause in order to confront those that seek to harm our people. We
have confronted the lies from many groups that spread 'Israel apartheid'
and we will continue to confront any group that spreads hate and threatens
the safety of our people. The security of the Jewish People is our
number one priority.<BR> </SPAN></P></TD></TR>
