[Vmdebootstrap-devel] Timing of vmdebootstrap removal from sid

after reading
https://sources.debian.org/src/vmdebootstrap/1.9-1/debian/NEWS/ I was
left with a slight doubt regarding the exact timing of the removal.

I think I've understood correctly that vmdebootstrap will be removed
from testing in September, 2018. So far, so good :)

But "get vmdebootstrap removed from Debian before the buster release"
raised a doubt in me about sid: is it an option to keep the package in
sid a little longer (e.g. until the end of 2019-02)? This would give
more time to a subset of users (those who are ready to fetch the
package from sid) to migrate to another tool, which would be
much appreciated.

If that's too much burden for you, don't bother, I understand the
desire to stop maintaining software whose architecture makes basic
maintenance painful or frustrating, and I also understand that your
time could be better spent elsewhere.
