[Vmware-package-maintainers] vmwware-package development status

Hello everybody,
I'm interested in helping this project. I'd like to add support for
vmware workstation 6.5.1 and I've already started analyzing the bundle
vmware provides, but I'd like to understand the current status of this
project, since it seems stale to me.

Also, is there any source control repository available?
