I've prepared a fixed package:

atm waiting for the maintainers ack for my request to join the vrms
maintainers team… :)

For now my repo is available at ssh://git.debian.org/git/users/holger/vrms.git
though I'll probably delete it once it's merged into git://anonscm.debian.org/vrms/vrms.git
