As you know, Debian just froze for its new release.  As Martin said the
priority was to get 1.180 as bug-free as possible before introducing new
versions.

So join us and make it happen.  http://webmin.alioth.debian.org/ has
instructions on how to create the packages, and outstanding bugs in the
current ones.
