You can configure yaird to include and load all the modules you like.
Just edit /etc/yaird/Default.cfg...

If you want a bloated ramdisk image by default then you want
initramfs-tools instead of yaird.

Maybe so. Try ask them yourself - they use a different mailinglist than
this :-)
