That is incorrect: yaird provides the _needed_ modules already.

I dare interpret "disk space is cheap" as "bloat is acceptable".

I personally choose myself to bloat some of my ramdisk images, either
by using initramfs-tools or by customizing /etc/yaird/Default.cfg.

I relate to the word "bloat" similarly as to "relaxed" and
"convenient". What I proposed was that if a "relaxed" rather than
"tight" dependency resolving was wanted by default, then have a look at
initramfs-tools.


Hope that clarifies things, and somewhat heals the verbal wounds of our
initramfs-tools package maintainer. :-)
