nack, i'm not reluctant in having such strange bug reports
lying around. if you wontfix please simply close.

afais the bug report was about errors on boot.

ok.
why not as rescue shell if things go wrong?
afair this is enabled with a strange debug flag,
but i might be wrong as i haven't looked in the yaird code recently.
