Hi there!
Since our irc meeting (btw, hey the next one earlier
please ;-) we all seem to be quiet busy. I have almost no
spare time (ask my girlfriend ;-) but there's always time to
type a short email just to refresh you all that we may
update things we have done and so on.
Pikota, how's being at the University? good luck at the
exams! (I miss you man! ;-) The same for you Mario :-) And
Jaldhar, already preparing your trip overseas to Finland? I
see your posts to debian-devel from time to time at least
part of your work sees the light! :-)
Just wanted to let you know (if you still haven't seen
it) that the people at Kubuntu have already taken a look
at our project:
http://udu.wiki.ubuntu.com/KubuntuRoadmap
They will evaluate which one among Guidance, MEPIS tools
and yast4debian fits better. Well YaST2 once packaged and
ready to use (I mean what we already have) is much better
imo. Guidance looks great though, but hasn't so many
possibilities as YaST2. If we only could get some help
in patches and packaging. Btw, Jaldhar you had some new
packages didn't you? I mean after mastering in Kubuntu
and trying them in there, any chance of uploading them in
the alioth repository you did?
See you all and thanks for your time!
Ramon
