Package: adduser
Version: 3.59
Severity: normal

It seems that if a group somehow has a user in it that does not exist,
you can't add a user to that group anymore.

root@host:~$ adduser geoffc src
Password:
Adding user `geoffc' to group `src'...
gpasswd: unknown user kierstyg
adduser: `/usr/bin/gpasswd -M
user1,user2,user3,kierstyg,geoffc
src' returned error code 1. Aborting.
Cleaning up.
