Well. It isn't really offline. But I try to re-use the cached debs.
 apt-offline was written for people in developing countries, with
limited internet. And I live in India, where internet is still not a
commodity. And in my current plan I still need to use the bandwidth
limit caringly. So it fits in very well with the requirement.

I also use it for VMs, and for other Debian ports. Especially, when
using Debian GNU/Hurd.

Yes. That one has bugs and I won't be backporting the fixes for the
stable branch.


You can simply try the latest one, it should work fine with Jessie.
