Yes, I mean the first solution: some central machines.
I think that all the potential user could use a web browser
(libraries, schools, Internet Coffees, ...). Now it
is too complex to run apt-zip in a windows machine, and
unfortunately most of the "remote" machine are windows
driven.
The resources could be a problem, but I hope to find some
mirrors. The main problem arise when there are updates to
big packages (i.e. 100 MB of open office).
But because of the apt-zip model, I think the loads are
spread in a some weeks/months.
I'll try to put a prototype in next weeks.
Have you (the whole list) proposal for the domain name (it will
be a .debian.net domain).
