In a nutshell, I'm drowning in email and don't have time to research
this atm. But to do so for three minutes:

what tests.r-b.o does is:

export DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS="parallel=$NUM_CPU"
debuild


basically and which only requests parallel builds but cdbs overrides it,
and so the build is not done in parallel and succeeds.

But read what I wrote in

and you will see how to force parallel build yourself…
