Package: sbuild
Version: 0.62.2-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

today I sponsored an upload and didn't notice that the Maintainer field
was set to my name in the *_$ARCH.changes file. Now it looks as if I
hijacked the sponsored package ;)

I installed sbuild from squeeze and rebuilt the package I sponsored and
the Maintainer and Changed-By fields remained unchanged.

Is this behaviour intended or a bug? I looked at NEWS.Debian.gz and
didn't find no new entry since the version as in squeeze. I'd guess the
changed behaviour could be related to the changelog.Debian entry
"Improve binNMU handling to permit binNMUs for multiarch packages
[...]".

Greetings - Fuddl
