Package: sbuild
Version: 0.62.6-1
Severity: wishlist
Hi,
I'm currently experimenting with sbuild, coming from a
pbuilder/cowbuilder setup. Something I miss is a way to customize the
build setup from commandline, and especially the build_dir and build_log
part.
I intend to use sbuild for different stuff, and for example for
pkg-xfce, where I usually need to rebuild multiple depending packages,
so I made the build result folder available to the build environement
(using bind mounts), run apt-ftparchive there and feed it as a source to
apt.
That works fine, but right now that means every build share the same
local apt source, which is not nice when I build for
squeeze/wheezy/sid/experimental.
In pbuilder I solve this by using a local pbuilderrc which contains some
shell variable I pass from a wrapper. I can't do that in sbuild because
there's no way to override the config file, nor to pass those options
from command line.
If you need more information about that setup, please ask.
Regards,
