Thanks for the patch.  Not being aware of the rationale for the
removal or if it's still possible to use aufs/unionfs in Debian
after the removal, could you possibly provide any background for
the changelog?  In particular, what's the migration path for
existing users?

Also, given that union (overlay) support in schroot is a
configurable build option, should schroot in Debian drop building
with union support?  We support unionfs, aufs and overlayfs.  Is
overlayfs still supported?
