Well, I think it is indeed OT here :-) Don't worry, I don't care about
OT-ness that much, but this is offers a good plug to say that here we
are trying to do one thing — CUT — and to do it right. I understand that
discussing CUT can easily lead to other exciting topics such as the
purpose of backports/volatile, how the whole idea (or name) of testing
rocks/sucks, etc. But this list is not the place in which we can fix
everything, or at least not all of it at once :)
That notwithstanding, I agree with your criticism, as discussed at
DebConf10. So let's try to learn from it and choose a good name for what
we are doing here. If it pays out, it might then become an incentive to
change the "testing" name.
