[D-community-offtopic] cannot connect to "0.0.0.2 - My Office PC"

Does any one have success in using the citrix receiver to log in
remotely? This is what I did...

I went to http://www.citrix.com/downloads/citrix-receiver/receivers-by-platform/receiver-for-linux-121.html
and downloaded icaclient_12.1.0_amd64.deb. I installed the debian
package without any problems. However, if I try to login to the remote
server, I am getting the following error

cannot connect to "0.0.0.2 - My Office PC"
Operation not permitted Verify your connection settings and try again

The problem seems to be specific to Linux based systems. Windows users
do not have any such problem. Can anyone think of why this could be
the case? Any suggestions/comments?

I also tried the older version icaclient_12.0.0_amd64.deb but the
error remains the same.

I am using Debian Wheezy.
