[Deb-scipy-devel] New numpy release

Hi
   I am compiling it for amd64. For python-scipy the following build 
dependencies are missing
swig, libufsparse-dev | libumfpack4-dev

but the linking fails with the following error messages

/usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/libumfpack.a(umfpack_di_report_control.o): relocation 
R_X86_64_32 against `a local symbol' can not be used when making a shared 
object; recompile with -fPIC
/usr/lib/libumfpack.a: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I might try to solve this if you are not faster:)
