Im using sabayon linux, a gentoo binary variant, and here, in gentoo world,
when cdrkit software package is installed, a 'symbolic link'
from 'genisoimage' to 'mkisofs' is created, like in this listings:

stat $(which mkisofs)
  File: `/usr/bin/mkisofs' -> `/usr/bin/genisoimage'
Size: 20 Blocks: 0 IO Block: 4096 symbolic link
Device: 802h/2050d Inode: 20669 Links: 1
Access: (0777/lrwxrwxrwx) Uid: ( 0/ root) Gid: ( 0/ root)
Access: 2007-05-05 20:40:38.697535424 +0300
Modify: 2007-05-03 22:19:08.044607265 +0300
Change: 2007-05-03 22:19:08.045607080 +0300

but man page for mkisofs is missing, i mean a symbolic link from genisoimage
man page to mkisofs man page but this is forget link is destined to a bug
report to gentoo bug system. Here i want to clarify a little more htis
problem. After a little investigation, a genuine local install of
cdrkit-1.1.5.1.tar.gz original package, i see that here is not generated any
link from genisoimage to mkisofs. This means that genisoimage is not
considered a 'replacement' for mkisofs or that because is new and can have
more bugs that original 'mkisofs' this replacement is delayed now?

If is not the case, and genisoimage fate is to replace mkisofs is a distant
future ;-), is not better to modify cmake makefile so a simbolic link from
genisoimage to mkisofs be created, by default, and a link between genisoimage
and mkisofs man pages also ? A lot of people do not know what is genisoimage
purpose, also many howto and tutorials talk about mkisofs command, and is
confused when mkisofs man page and binary is missing from cdrkit ...
