Hi there everyone,
I bought "8X www.datace.com dvd-r"'s recently.
DATACE's real company name is "Tide Fuyuan Technology(Shen Zhen)
Co., Ltd."
In the svn's wodim/trunk/diskid.c, there is one entry that resembles
it:
static char m_shenzen[] = "SHENZEN SG&GAST DIGITAL OPTICAL DISCS"
On my Lemote.com mini-fulong pc using Lemote Debian Linux, I am
trying to burn dvds with the following wodim command:
wodim -force dev=/dev/scd0 fs=14M speed=8 -dao -eject -overburn -v
blah.iso

The end result says the burn speed is 6.4x but while running it
displays a speed of 0.1x. The dvd took roughly 3 hours to burn.
Is there anyway I could force it to know the correct media type in
order to increase the speed to its optimal 8X?
Thank you in advance.
Cheers
