[Debburn-devel] LG CH08LS10 not burning CDs

Hi,

i booted RIP 9.3 non-X on the OS farm:

CPU:        AMD Athlon II X4 620 Quad-Core
mainboard:  GIGABYTE GA-MA74GM-S2H AM2 GLAN RAID.
at SATA  :  hard disk
at IDE   :  DVD-ROM (Samsung)
at USB   :  DVD burner (LG, BDDVDRW GGC-H20L)

There appear no dmesg complaints if i insert a
blank CD-RW into either of the DVD drives.

  cdrecord dev=/dev/sr0 -inq
nags about the address but works.

  dd if=/dev/zero bs=1M count=100 | \
  cdrskin -v dev=/dev/sr0 -tao -
works flawlessly with the blank CD-RW.


I will retry this when i got a new SATA drive
in replacement for the braindamaged one.
