[dcontrol] my suggestion

Hi,

I don't know how powerfull debconf is, I will have a look inside it when
I come back from my holiday in three weeks.
But what about this proposition: dcontrol provides a registry for
packets that are used to configure something using debconf. When the
packet is installed, it can register so it is shown in a list.

I would like this solution, because we would not have to start from
scratch. Who knows something more about debconf?

I am looking forward to see what you've done after my holiday - much
luck :-)
