I suppose so.

Eww.

You can download them from the Freescale website -- _after_ you
registered, and jumped through a number of hoops.

Since it's all GPL, however...

http://people.debian.org:~wouter/*.iso

There's two versions: one starts with 'ltib' (for 'Linux Target Image
Builder'), the other is smaller and is the 'PCS' version (for 'Platform
Creation Suite'). I've been looking at both, and it looks as if you need
a different (proprietary) software package to make full use of the PCS
version, whereas the ltib one does not require that. I suggest you get
yourself that one.

Note that I just started the upload, with an uplink of approximately
20KB/s:

-rw-r--r-- 1 wouter wouter 361M 2006-03-22 15:13 ltib-mcf547x_8x-20051213.iso
-rw-r--r-- 1 wouter wouter 258M 2006-03-21 19:44 mcf547x_548x-BSP-b19.iso

... so that will take a while.

Err, 2.6.16 is out since yesterday :-)
