This patch also seems to fix (part of) bug #494051 against
eeepc-acpi-source.  But as of kernel 2.6.26, the eeepc-laptop module
is in the standard kernel, and obsoletes eeepc-acpi.  And the other
part of that bug (the oops on unloading) is fixed in a pending patch
on LKML.

So I'd like to discontinue support for eeepc-acpi for kernels > 2.6.25.
Unless there are any objections, I plan to:
    1. document this in the wiki
    2. upload an eeepc-acpi package that will produce module packages
       that conflict with kernels >= 2.6.26
    3. advise the Debian kernel team to not build eeepc-acpi module packages
       for recent kernels, and drop any already-built packages from
       the archive
