No. In 2.6.26, the madwifi source that upstream (madwifi.org) 
distributes no longer needs to be pathed, as was the case with 2.6.25.

You don't have to. You can build the package on a desktop system.

Yes, I agree fetching the .deb from somewhere is easier, but while 
you're waiting... :)
