Yes, I saw that on IRC yesterday and did the reverse patch to come up
with a 1.7 version that compiled, but it exhibits exactly the same
behavior.

And clearly there are people running the 1.8.0 driver who don't
see this, which is what's so frustrating.

I should note also that I'm trying to associate with an old 802.11b-only
AP, but it works fine with non-RT2860 devices.
