[Debian-eeepc-devel] still having wpa_supplicant problems with rt2860 on 901

The rt2860 drivers version 1.7.1.1 do not fix anything for me.  I can
definitely reproduce your behavior connecting to an open network here.
 wpasupplicant in some way scres the driver up and forces it to
reconnect/disconnect infinitely.  The only way to solve this problem
is:

wpa_action ra0 down
iwconfig ra0 essid network
dhclient ra0

And then wpasupplicant stops interrupting the connection once it's
been manually established.
