[Debian-eeepc-devel] eeepc freezes in 2.6.26 after a few minutes

My eeepc (701) debian lenny just freezes around 10 sec. after login. It
is so annoying.

I think I did all that is mentioned here correctly ->
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/HowTo/Upgrade.
And I did the workaround from here ->
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianEeePC/Bugs/2.6.26 about the critical
temperature.
and I did the

        Code:

echo "HWCLOCKPARS=--directisa" >> /etc/default/rcS

from the troubleshooting section.
apart from freezing everything works fine wifi is up etc. (but it
freezes after 5 min.)

luckily I can still boot the 2.6.25 and do my work.

But:
Because I need to compile the driver for a DVB-T stick, I need the
headers for my kernel but I cant find the 2.6.25-headers in the repo
anymore. only the one for 2.6.26 and thats no use if I cant boot into it.

Therefor I did what is on the 2.6.26 bug page and changed my
sources.list into sid and installed the 2.6.26-7 from sid. But no luck -
still freezes.

I dont know how to solve this problem. Either get the 2.6.25 headers
from somewhere or fix the 2.6.26 or wait until tzhe 2.6.27 comes up and
hope everything works then. But I wont be able to use my new hardware.

Thanx for any help.
