OK.  Well, that is because eeepc-acpi-scripts now provides this option
in /etc/modprobe.d/eeepc.  Might I suggest you upgrade to 2.6.26 now?
The problems we had with this kernel earlier are now resolved, so
there's really no good reason to stay back at 2.6.25 (which is no
longer in lenny, anyway).
