	Hi,

- which Debian version did you install : Lenny ? Squeeze ? Sid ?

- which kernel version was installed ? you'll need a recent one,
  >= 2.6.28

- the ath9k module was loaded ? did you get a 'wlan0' interface ? 

- what is your DHCP error message(s) ?

  Perhaps you can first do the insall with an Ethernet wire, then
install the wifi ?
