Probably.

I am interested both in the status of the "upstream" ezgo project itself
and in the process of integrating ezgo with Debian.

I imagine Eric and others are most knowledgable about the upstream
project - both strategically and technically.

I imagine Andrew (and others?) is most knowledgable about the
integration with Debian.

Especially regarding the upstream project, please beware that I cannot
read chinese, so looking at e.g. http://ezgo.westart.tw/ is of little
help to me in trying to follow your work on my own.

So even some of you reading this that is not "official" like maybe Eric
is, can probably help answer my question by simply telling me what is
public already but available only in chinese (or even better: tell me if
there is english info somewhere about the project!).

You need no invitation to talk to me.

Great to hear that. I am interested in a) Debian adopting whatever it
is that makes ezgo8 great, and b) help ezgo benefit from Debian.

But both of those interests need mor input than "lots of things are
missing" and "it works great and is in active use".

Would be great if some of you could tell more about...

   * what specific improvements did you apply to ezgo compared to the
base system that you worked from (Ubuntu, I guess)
   * where is the sources for your work - so that I and others can try
repeat your success based on Debian

Ideally you would somewhere have a website with a changelog and a list
of both sources and binary results for all pieces of your project - and
some build notes on how you made the binaries from the sources.

Even if such website was in chinese, it would still be great to know
where it is - then I could try find other translators if none of you
have the time to help with that part.

Yeah, I just noticed that. Great :-)
