Hi,
I reviewed this bugs from Ubuntu:
http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17941
Which says our Culmus packages put the fonts in the wrong location.
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 instead of /usr/share/X11/fonts/Type1.
I've check what /etc/X11/xorg.conf has to say and saw
FontPath "/usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1"
while culmus install files at /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1/
so I guess this bug is also relevant for Debian. And the fix can
propagate to Ubuntu once we fix it.
I checked the policy. See section 11.8.5. Although I saw some
discussions about this isn't revlevant from non X fonts.
The file has /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts and /usr/share/fonts in his dir
lists. So I'm a bit confused.
Since lintian says:
W: culmus: packages-installs-file-to-usr-x11r6 usr/X11R6/lib/
W: culmus: packages-installs-file-to-usr-x11r6 usr/X11R6/lib/X11/
I guess we should stop use this dir any way.
