     If font metric files are available, they must be placed here as

so we work according to policy.

/usr/lib/X11 is a symlink to /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 so we are ok here.
Probably Ubuntu didn't something wrong with this stuff.

I say we have no problem and we should not worry about it until Debian's
policy changes.
