Before discussing solutions, I recommend making sure what is the actual 
issue here.

avoine: Is this your own practical experience or official/unofficial 
upstream information?  Do you know when it changed?

Everyone: Could you please describe more detailed with which versions of 
official Debian-packaged sugar packages you experience this?


The reason I ask is that with the very latest versions in unstable and 
*no* ~/Activities folder, shared activities show up just fine on my 
machine.
