Here's a little sample from my .config:
# Platform support
#
CONFIG_PPC_ISERIES=y
# CONFIG_PPC_MULTIPLATFORM is not set
CONFIG_PPC=y
CONFIG_PPC64=y
CONFIG_IBMVIO=y
# CONFIG_POWER4_ONLY is not set
# CONFIG_IOMMU_VMERGE is not set
CONFIG_SMP=y
CONFIG_NR_CPUS=32
# CONFIG_SCHED_SMT is not set
# CONFIG_PREEMPT is not set
CONFIG_GENERIC_HARDIRQS=y
CONFIG_MSCHUNKS=y
CONFIG_LPARCFG=y
As you can see I use ISERIES, thanks to your biarch gcc I could compile a
newer kernel.
I would gladly test for you if you want. In a couple of weeks we also get a
newer iSeries and also there I am going to setup some linux partitions.
Regards,
Frank
