I am still trying to fix the remaining packages which currently FTBFS on
ppc64. Many bug reports with patches have already been filed and some of
the patches have been applied by the maintainers, but there is still 
quite a lot of work to do. The most important thing would be to create a
working installer. I had no success creating a bootable installer CD 
yet.

Yes there were some of those problems. They have partly been fixed but 
there still seems to be some problem with the archive update process.
