This is entertaining:

Make the "3 random untagged" a weekly feature.  I like it.

I think so.  Personally, of course, I happen to follow debtags-devel
closely, so most of the news items do not surprise me; but outside
observers will read the newsletter with interest, especially if the
debtags website conveniently archives past newsletters.

The newsletter wants a two-line summary at top.  No more than two lines.

For my part, I find the

section particularly interesting.

If you wanted to publish the newsletter once a month instead of once a
week, this would be okay, too.
