Those are just random characters I used to prefix path in order to invalidate 
it to prevent exclusion. Sometimes I just prefix path with "~" that stands 
out and makes it easy to revert when bundling becomes unnecessary. On this 
instance I've used two different characters to distinguish why a particular 
component is kept.
