I coud help a little with 2D art (bitmap and vector). Long before (2
years ago) :-)) I terminated my graphic designer/DTP specialist carrer
and embrace the network admin. one. :-))). So, I coud give a hand in
retouching pictures, making vectorial logos or anything is need it.
To put in another way, I have reopend the debate OO.o vs. magic because
I am workin' on Linux, Solaris, Win and Mac. It's the only ported on all
the oses. :-)). But, no problem, I understand clearly why you choused
that and I think it was the right decision.
I am ready to start on this project Monday. Until then I think I can
manage some schematic ideas.
One that I have right now is one with all the major distribution logos:
the swirl swirling, the red hat doing whatever it wants :-)), the
camellion stand up on Novell logo and any other not mentioned here, all
reunited in badges on the tux. The start is with all those (or appearing
one after another) and after that a zoom out and starting to reveal the
tux with those badges.
