Well, the problem does not come for the applications themselves, but 
rather from the Debian maintainers who will probably want to get rid of 
OSS in their packages in the future. They will probably build them with 
--without-oss, and if a library exists in both OSS and alsa version, 
they will probably ask to remove the OSS version from the archive.
