[Gnome22-user] Sign-On to MSN Crashes Gaim v0.75

All,

I'm running the Gaim v0.75 in the Gnome 2.2 backport to Debian Woody 
(http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/mirrors.evilgeniuses.org.uk/debian/backports/woody), 
and when attempting to sign on to MSN, Gaim aborts silently upon 
displaying notification of unread Hotmail messages.  Any suggestions?  
Do I need to upgrade Gaim?
