gnome-ticker provided stock quotes and charts with a gnome interface. The program had stability issues and recently was unable to fetch quotes. I sent several emails upstream, but the author never responded. Because the package is completely broken at this point, it has been removed from the backport and gnome-fifth-toe now Conflicts with gnome-ticker. Jamie
