Test 2 actually does work, you just need to set the character encoding
to Unicode (UTF-8) while in menu.

I used gopher from here:
gopher://gopher.floodgap.com/9/gopher/clients/src/gopher2_3.tar.gz
and it works on tests 1-4. But I guess that depends on system libraries
and not on the gopher itself.
