[gopher] Does Java have built-in Gopher support?

Tried simple test printing all the packages accesible for the classloader. There is no sun.net.www.protocol.gopher package - only http,ftp and jar.

Interesting that this link for JDK7(http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/guides/jweb/otherFeatures/protocol_support.html) shows support of Gopher. This for 8 (http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/technotes/guides/deploy/other_features.html#JSDPG1077) doesn't
