The udftools init header looks incorrect too:

# Provides:          udftools
# Required-Start:
# Required-Stop:
# Default-Start:     2 3 4 5
# Default-Stop:      0 1 6


As there is no Required-Start or Required-Stop, udftools will be 
inserted after halt, in rc0.d, which obviously doesn't work ;-)
